Dinnr

Dinnr is a recipe app for people who collect recipes the way other people collect books — from YouTube, TikTok, websites, photographs, the back of a cookbook page. Paste a link or snap a photo and it becomes a structured recipe; plan a week of meals in seconds; then a distraction-free Cooking Mode dims everything but the step you're on. Same library across Mac, iPad, and iPhone.

I built it to replace the tangle of bookmarks and screenshots I actually cook from. But Dinnr was just as much an experiment: how far can AI take a product when the designer never opens Figma?

Every screen was designed directly in code with Claude Code Max — no mockups, no design tool, no handoff. I worked in the medium the product ships in, treating prompts and live preview as the design surface. It was a deliberate test of my AI design instincts: could I hold taste, hierarchy, and craft while moving at the speed of generation?

The whole thing came together in about two weeks. Production-grade from the start — Vercel, Supabase, Sentry, and PostHog behind it, and a real App Store release at the end.
